l’opendoc

The Opendoc is an online platform dedicated to documenting all kinds of activities, chronologically and collaboratively.

The opendoc was first designed to make collaborative documentation easier in environments where practice plays a major role. It was made in partnership with a fablab, the CRI’s OpenLab, and then evolved and was deployed in other environments, according to the specific needs of each context of use.
Today, the opendoc serves various purposes: it is used to document workshops or classes (as course material / to share design and making processes), as an organization tool for associations, or as a research notebook for PhD students.

Built on WordPress, this template lets you edit and publish content on the front end (through icons and fields that appear directly on the website). We added a few other features, such as displaying Processing sketches or navigating 3D environments.
