Capitaine futur and the Superflower

Creating a Superflower-making workshop, imagined by the children of the Labschool.
The workshop echoes the artwork The Timid Wilderness by Miranda Moss, as part of the European project Capitaine futur coordinated by the Gaîté Lyrique.

Superfleur (Superflower) is a series of workshops held between January and March 2018 with the children of the Labschool at the Gaîté Lyrique. The Labschool is an experimental school inspired by various alternative pedagogies.
The goal was to invent, with the children, a workshop that other children could reproduce. Using do.doc, the children documented their experiments, tests and successes to produce a tutorial on how to make a Superflower, a flower with superpowers that they imagined.
Similar workshops were offered by other artists in the project’s partner venues: KIKK Festival (Namur, Belgium), Ciné Kid (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Woelab (Lomé, Togo).

Workshops prepared and led by l’Atelier des Chercheurs in collaboration with the Gaîté Lyrique and the Labschool, as part of the European project Capitaine futur’s voyages.
