do•doc 13 is out!
After a public beta this spring, version 13 of do•doc is available. It brings around 900 changes since version 12: a redesigned project interface, discussions, task lists, richer publications and Docker support.
Work on this version started in October 2025, when do•doc 12 came out. We shared its progress step by step on our forum, and opened a public beta on May 26, 2026. Many thanks to everyone who tested it and sent us feedback!
The main new features:
- a redesigned project interface, with panels you can choose for each project and a new "my projects" section;
- discussions and task lists, with several lists per project, checkboxes, dates and notes;
- richer publications: a reworked multi-format layout (grids, linked blocks, embedded PDFs), maps, filters, sorting and a list view;
- media tools: batch processing, saved crops and targeted blurring, for example to hide faces;
- a new text editor, with help for Markdown syntax;
- a trash bin, emptied automatically after 30 days;
- Docker support, and a single codebase for the app and the server version.
do•doc 13 keeps evolving: version 13.0.43, released on October 12, 2026, fixes several bugs and security issues in dependencies. If you use version 12, a migration guide explains how to move to version 13.
